Hi. Great article you have here it explained things very well. My question for you is when I visit my website to see exactly how things look and I am on a page of mine that has adsense will i be penalized in anyway if it causes impressions? I went to look around the other day and realized it may have caused impressions even though I never even got close to the adsense ads. I am not sure what I should do if I need to look at my site if this is the case.

Thank you,
Michael

Hi Michael,

If you visit your own sites which have your ads there, you are creating impressions. However, AdSense has said it is OK to visit one's owm site as long as one is not purposely driving up impressions. I am guessing that AdSense have a way of telling when it is you visiting your own sites, and it probably exclude thosse impressions.

Thanks Peter.

That is a huge relief. At first I thought I had done something wrong I am still pretty new to all of this. I love your blog site btw. You have some great information.
