There are many ways of earning online. The easiest way, which is what I am presently doing, is be a content publisher and let entities like Google AdSense and Kontera ContentLink, etc., do the rest of the hard work. Their part is to find the advertisers and put RELEVANT advertisements (this is important because no one, neither you nor the visitors would want to see irrelevant stuff on your site) to display on your sites. Your part to to keep the content informative, useful, interesting, up to date, etc., and very important, get traffic to your site. No traffic = no earning.
It is possible to get very respectable earning online this way. Many have done it, but they have very high traffic sites. There are various ways to generate traffic to your site. You may get some tips at build traffic to your site. Some of them takes a bit of work, some lots of work. Most of them are long-term, meaning once you have done your work, it will last a long time.
Others drive traffic to their sites using advertising campaigns, and a very cost effective one is Google AdWord. With Google AdWord, you can chose CPC (cost per click) ads in which you can specify keywords relevant to your site content, bid for how much you are prepared to pay for clicks to get traffic to your site, pay nothing if no one click, specify geo-targeting (only display for surfers from specified regions), There are other options and you can get more information from Google AdWord.
However, if you can be successful in network marketing, affiliate marketing, e-Commerce, that may bring in money faster that being just a content publisher and depending on advertising income. In my main blog Blogger Tips and Tricks, I get lots of traffic, lots of questions and lots of request for help. One was from a quadriplegic (serious accident) wants to do affiliate and network marketing, etc., using a blog and wants me to help. He says he only gets $100 left after paying for nursing care, offered to pay me from part of his earning and even trusted me enough to give me the username and password to his Blogger account. I am not sure that I will be eventually be paid, but seeing his difficulties, I agreed to help. Perhaps we can help each other as I may also want to dip my toes into what he is trying to do.
For such thing as affiliate or network marketing and such, one of the most valuable thing you can have is a mailing list. He gave me an excel file containing a list of email address, and when I expressed reservation on how he got his mailing list, he assured he has confidence in his source. However, I am going to refer him to iContact Email Marketing which is ideal for those earning that way. I am very wary of using mailing lists. I have a very long list of contacts in my Gmail account obtained mainly from bloggers asking question or requesting help, but hesitate to use such contacts for marketing purposes. One can get reported for sending spam and get into trouble. Using opt-in list, or even better, double op-in list, is much safer and should be the way to go. This PDF file - Email Marketing Best Practices by iContact contains lots of very useful information including importance of opt-in lists and I am going to email him to read that PDF file as it not only have good information and tips on mailing lists, but lots of other good stuff and tips as well.
I am going to encourage to sign up for a iContact 15 days free trial and would encourage you to do the same thing. For there are lots of other features offered by iContact such as autoresponder, however, to see what that have to offer, you have to sign up for a free trial and log in. There are lots more stuff like email newsletter software. newsletter software, etc. You just have to check for yourself.

27 year old mechanic went from earning $812 a week to almost $1000 every day in less than 6 weeks
Note: If you are not interested in my personal experience and that of my children, and only interested in how to go from earning $812 a week to almost $1000 a day, skip the rest of the post and go straight to the bottom of the post.
Update 21 December 2007: There is a comment plus my responses in the comments section. I encourage you to read them.
This post is of particular interest to me. Why? I have 5 children, first 3 are daughters and the last 2 are sons. I took time to encouraged my daughters to read, do their homework, and now they have good jobs and financially independent. I am an active thinker, and that had at one time brought me trouble. My daughters had advised me not to think too much. There is also this Solomon's saying in the Bible - "For the more my wisdom, the more my grief; to increase knowledge only increases distress". I am a retired associate professor, meaning I am highly educated. I had this unfortunate thinking that the more education you have, the more averse you will be to taking risks, implying the less likely you will venture into your own business. I thus did not encouraged them as I did their elder sisters. Also, at the crucial period of my sons' education, their mother got seriously sick for an extended period, and they eventually lost their mother. Their education was affected and they are not as highly educated as their daughter. I have come to the realisation a bit too late that only a small fraction of those less educated make a huge success of their life. The rest have to struggle.
Wise or not, I had put my sons on my lap and let them steer my van when they were young and not of driving age yet. Probably because of that, both of them got very interested in cars, to my dismay. In fact, my youngest son somehow picked up skills in repairing cars and to my surprise, even worked as a part-time mechanic in a workshop while he was studying. When he couldn't get the price he wanted for his Mini (see Mini for sale), he even overhauled his Mini's engine on his own. I encouraged him to go for vocational training as a mechanic, but he decided against it because he said the mechanic he knew when he was working at the workshop was already ____ of age (forgot the exact age) but still can't afford to get married, and he don't want to end up like him. Anyway, he ended up with vocational and C&G (City and Guilds) certificates in Industrial Electronics. He started work recently in a company installing CCTV, POS (Point of Sales) cash registers, etc. Even before he was confirmed, he got an offer for a higher paying job with better working conditions.
My eldest son worked for a while and was doing reasonably well in a sales job. Unfortunately, he had differences with his superior and left the job, went from one job to another, generally not doing too well because of lack of paper qualifications. He asked to go for further studies, and I agreed. That is how I ended up earning online to supplement my pension to support them (now him).
It also says it is a work at home opportunity. That sounds attractive. It will be just like what I am doing now - working and earning from home. No car, no burning of depleting fossil fuel, no contribution to global warming, no traffic jams. Just a network of computers and broadband access to the Internet which we already have. Sounds like heaven.
Work at home business opportunity only ask for your name and email address to learn more, and they undertook never to share your information and promise not to bombard you with spam. That is not asking too much. So rather than regretting not having encouraged or pushed my sons in their academic studies, I think I should not also regret not drawing their attention to these sites.

Earn almost $1000 everyday in less than 6 weeks
But this site a 27 year old mechanic that didn't finish high school went from earning $812 a week to almost $1000 every day in less than 6 weeks caught my eye. It was about how a 27 year old mechanic that didn't finish high school went from earning $812 a week to almost $1000 every day in less than 6 weeks!!!! I immediately thought of my son. He is earning just enough to survive and definitely not anywhere near $1000 every day. I think I will draw his attention to this site. The site Work at home business opportunity also mentioned a 23 year old electrician earning $2000 in only 4 days starting from scratch. Well, the current job he is in is sort of related to electricity. If they can do it, why not my son?It also says it is a work at home opportunity. That sounds attractive. It will be just like what I am doing now - working and earning from home. No car, no burning of depleting fossil fuel, no contribution to global warming, no traffic jams.
