Successes with Payloadz: How I did it

A blog visitor asked: "You said you got the response with just one post. Where in the world did you post to get the traffic?" in my earlier post Earn with Payloadz: Successes (click BACK button to get back to this page). The post referred to is PDF book "Blogger Tips and Tricks (click BACK button to get back to this page) was actually an experiment as I didn't really have a product that people is willing to pay a reasonably high price for it as it was all done using free program and free trial subscription. I joined PayLoadz Affiliate and put an affiliate link at the top. To be honest, I get paid, but the payment was small as PayLoadz Affiliate don't wait till your earning accumulate to $100 before they pay you. They pay you with small sum.

That was the beginning and it brought small successes. I then added a PayLoadz downloadable product for sale in the right sidebar of this blog, and perhaps that helped. I had another idea, and added another "experiment" at Quick Blogger and Earn Online Help searchable Excel file for sale. Now again I cannot charge much for this as I can't sell that product for high price, and in fact don't have much expectation of selling unless bloggers who have been using my blogs as references want to have an easier way of looking for the help they need. But what is more important is the affiliate link.

This bring me SMALL income, but frequent. I don't want to lie to you and say I earn a lot from PayLoadz affiliate. But if you have a saleable digital product, it may be worthwhile to actually subscribe to Payloadz and uses it to sell your digital product provided what you earn is more than what you pay to Payloadz to use their services. Otherwise, just be an affiliate, sell other's digital products and be satisfied with small but regular income.

Just as not to raise your expectation too high, I will include a screenshot of some payments (not all included as I can't fit them all into a single screenshot. It shows SMALL but regular payments. But as they say, small grains of sand built a mountain. I am satisfied, but if you want to go big, produce a real saleable digital product and expect your income to go up.

Earn with PayLoadz: Successes

I have received numerous SMALL but frequent payments from Payloadz, and this is just one of them:

The names ""PayLoadz" have been highlighted by a red ellipse. There are numerous others and they are all in my Inbox. The good thing about PayLoadz is that they don't wait until you earn a minimum like, for example a minimum of $100 with Google AdSense and Amazon Affiliate. The amount may be small, but frequent and regular.

The best thing is, I have managed to earn with just one published post and nothing beyond that. Now I am encouraged and will start to put my affiliate links for PayLoadz in the sidebar and see what will be the effect on the earnings. I would expect the payments to be more frequent, and hopefully higher in quantum.

Come on. Jump onto the boat and join me. It cost you nothing and gets you income with very little efforts.

One more thing. I noticed the word "beta" in the message, and contacted PayLoadz. They said they are encouraged by its success and will continue with the program, probably with better features.

Best affiliate program ever

You can make a living online in various ways.

Earning online as an affiliate

Even if you have no products to sell, you can still make money online by becoming an affiliate of a merchant. Examples are Amazon for physical as well as digital (downloadable products), PayLoadz (for downloadable digital products only), etc. Many small operations also offers affiliate programs, but the majority uses the cookie system to track traffic coming from your affiliate links. Cookies are tiny files saved to your computer when you visit a website, and some consider cookies as spyware (non-malicious). Merchants offering affiliate programs put a shelf life to the cookies. If a visitor do not purchase anything on the first visit, if they return to the site later and purchased something within the lifespan of the cookie, you will still earn the commission. Anything later than that, you get nothing.

That is where the weakness of affiliate programs that uses cookies. Many as a matter of habit, delete cookies at the end of the days. Some even before the day is over when they encounter some problems. Once deleted, your potential commission is gone, no more.

Also, most affiliate programs gives you affiliate links that are easily identifiable as such, for example

http://www.auctionads.com/refer_2c73d07577f5a006e245

The part that comes after "com" is a give-away that it is an affiliate link, and some envious surfers who do not want you to get your hard earned commission will delete the identifying part an go to

http://www.auctionads.com/

and there goes your commission.

And now....

The best affiliate program ever

This is the first time I came across a website that offers a system not based on the unreliable cookie system, and that is by Online Canadian Pharmacy Escrow Service. They use a unique system I have never come across which earn you commission whenever you referred a visitor to your website to their website, irrespective of when. It has no shelf life. That is pretty generous. I will do a write-up on how it works later. Bookmark this post or blog and check for updates.

They have other ways which can also earn you commission, but I will leave that till later. I have interest in natural remedies, and you can get from this website not only conventional medications, but also herbal medicine like TULA TANTRUM TAMER PILLULES for calming tantrums of autistic children. My nephew has an autistic daughter and I may just draw his attention to this alternatives. But please note also the "If your doctor has prescribed you to take TULA TANTRUM TAMER PILLULES, then click the 'Buy Now' button ...." at the top of the page. This means you may have to check with your conventional doctor for consultation on the use of this herbal medicine.

Make money online as a content publsher

One of them is to become a content publisher and put advertisements on your site. Google AdSense is a very good one. The reason why I like Google AdSense is because they have a very large pool of advertisers and usually they serve text link ads that are very relevant to the content of your site, plus they have a variety of products (including a site search box which I use in all my blogs) which not only help you earn money, but can help your visitors. In fact, as an AdSense account holder, I have to be very careful when I visit my own site because the advertisements displayed by Google AdSense are normally related to what I am interested in, and if I am not careful, I click on the ads on your own sites, I may get my account suspended. However, things are not really as precarious as I described it because if you do make a mistake, you can to to AdSense Support and you will see a link to an online form to report invalid clicks. Not only that, Google AdSense have a way to detect invalid clicks and will not count them to add to your earning. In fact, I have reported invalid clicks twice and they replied that if it is only one or two, I may not need to report them as they can detect invalid clicks.

Google AdSense have various ways for y0u to generate income via their program and you can read about them at How do I earn with Google AdSense.

Now the most effective way to get clicks that pays is to put them within the content. If you use a blog, that is hard but not impossible to do. For example, if you use Google Blogger as your blogging platform, refer to Incorporate AdSense ads in New Blogger posts or Incorporate AdSense Ads in New Blogger posts and wrap text around it. Recently, a new form of in-text advertisements have made the scene and one of them is Kontera ContentLink. You can read more about my relatively quick success using Kontera ContentLink from Succeed with Kontera ContentLink and find out how it is done at Earn with Kontera ContentLink.

Sell own products online

This is the best option if you have your own products to sell, especially if they are digital products like Software, eBooks, music, movies, digital art, manuals, articles, certificates, forms, files, etc., that can be downloaded by customers 24 hours a day and 7 days a week without you intervening and having to do physical delivery. I did a DEMONSTRATION at e-Book "Blogger Tips and Tricks" for sale using PayLoadz. Selling physical products will involve physical delivery (hard, time consuming manual work) but may be suitable for some.

Some also help sell physical products of merchants who do drop-shipping, that is, you get the sale, they do the shipping. But I suppose the responsibility of the customer actually getting the products purchased falls on you, plus I am not clear about responsibility for the quality of the product.

Websites to earn online and web hosting

To be able to earn anything online, it is essential to have a website. You can use free websites like Geocities, but it will not be much good for business, will command not much respect, any you will be very limited with what you can do. You can start a blog using any of the various blogging platforms such as Google Blogger, Wordpress, Live Journal, Typepad, etc. Most of them have free and paid versions.

Blogger used to have free and paid versions until Google bought it over. Now it is all free. No paid versions. In addition, they now have custom domain where you can use your own domain for the blog and New Google Blogger can host it for you free. You can also choose to host on your own, in which case, you will have to get a web host such as Personal Website Hosting.

Wordpress also have a free and paid version and many have said Wordpress have better features than New Blogger. I have tried their free version and is definitely not impressed. They are much, much less generous than Google Blogger. I don't know about the paid Wordpress version, but I believe you need to download their software and MUST host the blog your self. No choice. You may then want to try Business Website Hosting.

For blogs, normally the blogging platform you use will offer their standard templates, but there are also many other third parties that offer alternative templates.

Blogs has it good points, but also have limitations. For business, you may want a normal website, not a blog. You can create the website using hard coding or use a WYSISYG (What You See Is What You Get) programs like Frontpage, Dreamweaver, etc. You will definite need a web host to host your website. There are templates for free and also some for which you have to pay. However, it you host with the Burton Hosting whose links are given above, they also offer website templates which includes Flash templates. The site says their templates will enable you to quickly create fast and high quality websites and are fully customizable.

If you plan to create a website to earn online, having high quality fast downloading website are very important. The first to create a good impression, the second to avoid potential visitors surfing away when your website takes too long to download.

Increase Earnings: Offer Promotional Products

It is common for commercial entities to purchase promotional products to give away to customers or suppliers. So far this practice had been limited to what they call "bricks and mortar" merchants. For online merchants, it is a far less common practice, but I do not see why it should not be used by online merchants and those making a living online or just earning extra income from online activities.

Some examples are those who market physical products online, can offer promotional items for those who purchase certain offer items or who purchase more than a specified number of items. Now since they already have to get involved in shipping, shipping an extra item or two will not require much extra work.

It will be harder for those who sells downloadable digital products like PDF books, downloadable music and video, software, etc. as their business do not involve shipping items. Offering promotional items with their purchase will not be easy, but I believe if they are willing to commit themselves to a bit of extra work, they should see their sales figures going up.

Another possibility is offering promotional products to compile a mailing list. I have wanted to create a mailing list, but find it hard to created a downloadable item to offer to help create that list. Investing in physical promotional products will overcome that problem.

All those who operate business websites are not only small operators. There are big corporations who also operate online. For them, they can offer corporate gifts.
